The X-Lite X-1004 is the flip-up helmet by X-lite for the more demanding Touring rider, developed with a light weight fibre shell. The X-1004 has a slightly extended chinbar when compared to the X-1003, allowing the rider more room and a less trapped in feeling. Three outer shell sizes and unmatched look, and more effective, and easier to use vents than the 1003. The X-1004 comes with dual Jet and Protective homologation. This means the protective chin guard has passed the homologation tests required by the ECE regulations for full-face helmets.The X-1004 has a Dual Action double safety chin guard opening system, and a full Touring Ventilation System. The X-Lite X-1004 is equipped with an ultra-wide visor, VPS sunscreen with UV 400 protection, Eyewear Adaptive system for glasses wearers, and a Microlock 2 ratchet strap retention system.
